We are delighted to start welcoming guests back to Murrayshall Country House Hotel and Golf Club. We have put together this guide to inform you of some changes we have made to our operations, to ensure the safety of our guests and colleagues alike for your upcoming stay.
You will see additional cleaning taking place across the property. Our skilled cleanliness team have undergone additional training, are using new enhanced techniques to ensure our bedrooms, public areas and back of house operation go beyond the mandated levels of hygiene requirements. We have installed hand sanitiser units throughout the property for guest use and signage to help you navigate safely around.
Our team will be using appropriate PPE which will vary from protective screens, gloves and face masks depending on the area they work in. You can rest assured that we have implemented the very highest standards of cleanliness across the property.
We do ask that you, our guests, join us in this hospitality journey by following the social distancing and hand sanitising protocols we have in place. This guidance is clearly marked throughout the hotel with floor stickers, posters & extra signage.

Check In / Check Out *
Prior to arrival you will receive a pre-register email. This will ask you to fill out where possible or email in the details 24 hours before arrival. This is to enable check in to be contactless where possible and will help minimise time at the reception area. Also to ensure we are supporting the NHS test & protect guidelines. Our check in is from 3pm, Upon arrival you will be asked to check over and sign your registration card. We will then require a card for pre- authorization, this will be offered as the option to use for contactless check out on departure as well. Lastly you will be given your welcome letter with details of your stay as well as your fully sanitised room key.
Our check out is by 11am. Please place the key in the designated box at reception before departing. If you opt for the contactless check out option, the card authorized on file for the booking will be charged (if not already fully pre-paid) as well as any extras charged to your room throughout your stay. A copy of your paid bill will be emailed out. Where you wish to use an alternative method of payment we can still accept this at reception on check out and provide a paper copy of the bill if required.

Your bedroom will not be accessed by anyone from the point of being sanitised, until you open the door for the first time. During you stay, we are changing housekeeping services to an "on request" option; this is to limit the amount of time a member of our housekeeping team will be present in your room, after you arrive. If at any time you require additional towels, tea supplies etc. please contact reception and these will be delivered and left outside your door. For stays longer than 3 days a linen change can be arranged with reception.
Restaurant & Bar
We have reduced capacities in our Stutt's Bar to ensure the correct social distancing measures can be applied. There are a range of time slots for bookings of both breakfast and dinner to allow time between reservations and specific cleaning measures in place. Tables are subject to availability and once fully booked the nearest time slot will be made available. Our bar will be available for drinks at anytime throughout your stay. We are encouraging contactless card payments possible.
Breakfast 7am – 10am Mon-Fri, 7.30am - 10.30am Sat/Sun.
Served in the Lynedoch Brasserie we will operate on a reservation only basis for breakfast. This will include a selection of continental goods, alongside hot plated options as well. Please book this in advance via phone 01738 551171 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
All Day Dining 9am – 5pm
We have an all-day dining menu available in our Stutt's Bar. A member of our team will direct you to an available table, these may be subject to fixed time slots if busy. Also, weather permitting you have the option to dine outside on the outdoor terrace with beautiful views across the golf course and scenery.
Dinner 5.30pm – 10pm (Last orders 8:30pm)

NEW SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES FOR MURRAYSHALL HOTEL
Effective from 6.00pm on 09.10.20
Inside – Serving Food & Non-alcoholic drinks only – until 6.00pm
Outside – Serving Food & Non-alcoholic drinks only – until 6.00pm
After 6.00pm – NO FOOD OR DRINK AVAILABLE
Afternoon Tea – can be served until 4.00pm without alcohol.
PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT BE SERVING ALCOHOL TO NON-RESIDENTS AT ALL
Inside - Serving Food & Non-alcoholic drinks only – until 10.00pm
Room Service - As normal including, food, alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased at any time during their stay to be consumed in their room only.
Outside - Residents can only order and consume alcoholic drinks outside between the hours of 6.00pm and 10.00pm and sit outside on the tables at the fountain. Table service only, cannot be dispensed from the bar and taken out by the guest.
Pre-arrival requests – guest can pre-order alcohol/gift to be in their room on arrival.
Afternoon Tea with alcohol – can be served in the guest’s room
Guests are permitted to bring their own alcohol and consume in their room only.
The Pro Shop is open daily from 7.30am-7pm with social distancing measures in place. We kindly ask you to wear a face mask or covering whilst in the shop, this is in line with government guidelines.
