On October 4th, our General Manager Gary Silcock and Head Chef Craig Jackson, headed to London for the Boutique Hotelier awards where we picked up ‘Best Hotel Restaurant’ for the UK for our Eòlas Restaurant.
These awards celebrate the best hotels and mark the achievements of excellent staff and employers in the hospitality sector.
We were the only Scottish hotel to be shortlisted and competition was extremely stiff which included Whatley Manor in the Cotswolds and Grays Court Hotel in York.
Gary and Craig are pictured receiving the award with Jonathan Gain, the Chief Executive of Stellar Asset Management, who own Murrayshall and Ben Blackburn, Consultant.
We were certainly flying the flag for Scotland, as we were the only hotel to win from Scotland on the night.
