Enjoy a hike with a difference.  On the 12^th September 2025, come with us on a hike to the Lynedoch Obilesk Monument and experience Scotland’s Night Sky at the highest part of our Estate.  Before the Hike, you will do some stargazing on the lawn in front of the hotel with telescopes under the watchful eye of Astrophotographer, Andrew Allan.

7:30pm – 9:30/10pm

If Clear Weather:

Night Sky Presentation = 1hr

Stargazing with Telescopes and laser pointer = 30mins / 1hr

Hike to Oblisk for astrophotography, photograph guests = 1/2hr

18th Green with Seating Area for Telescopes  – Stargazing in front of the hotel

If Cloudy Weather:

Night Sky Presentation = 1hr

Look at telescopes inside and chat = 30mins

Astrophotography Presentation = 30/45mins

Al participants should bring a head torch/strong torch with them as this is not provided.  High vis clothes should be worn if able to and sturdy footwear should also be worn.  Warm clothes and food/drink should be brought with you if required.

If bringing children, then it is the responsibility of the parent to look after the group at all times.
