Can I exclusively hire Murrayshall for the day of my wedding 

For exclusive-use bookings, Murrayshall becomes entirely yours.
We quite literally close our doors to all other guests, granting you and your party private access to the entire hotel, our dedicated team, all 40 opulent bedroom suites and 22 luxury pods, and our acres of breathtaking private gardens and grounds. Every corner is yours to enjoy, ensuring an atmosphere of total privacy, elegance, and enchantment throughout your stay.

Do Murrayshall do elopements or host small weddings

How far should be book in advance for our wedding?

We always recommend getting in touch as early as possible to give yourselves the best chance of securing your dream date — and to make the most of the magical planning journey ahead.

How do we secure a wedding date

Our dedicated team is on hand to discuss potential dates — simply make an enquiry here to get started.

Once you’ve chosen your dream date, we ask for a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your booking, but we can be flexible with this. And the remaining of the money we are flexible with.

Can I arrange a visit to look at the venue?

We’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you to the hotel for a personal tour and a chat about your plans — it’s the best way to experience Murrayshall firsthand. If your based further a far we would be more than happy to arrange a call at your convenience.

Is there accommodation on site for our guests?

Yes, we have 40 rooms all shapes and sizes with a few additional beds available for childrenand 22 Luxury pods. The Miller Suite is especially popular for bridal party preparations and celebrations — a truly unforgettable space.

Guests can also choose from numerous nearby hotels, ranging from 3 to 5 stars and situated within 20 to 30 minutes of the hotel—offering options to suit every taste and budget. We are happy to assist with transport arrangements for guests staying in the area.

Yes, we have plenty of on-site parking available at the hotel. We also welcome coaches and buses, which can easily access Murrayshall.

What happens if there is bad weather forecast?

We always have a ‘Plan B’ indoor backup for any element of your big day – we are located in Scotland after all! Our team will keep a close eye on the weather forecast in the lead up to the big day and make a final decision 24 hours before the wedding.

Is there a church nearby?

For those wishing to hold a traditional ceremony, the beautiful Scone new church is located 5 minutes away from the hotel in the town of scone. In addition, there are a number of charming churches in the surrounding area to suit a range of guest numbers and styles— or a larger church the St Johns kirk in the middle of Perth city centre (15 minutes away)

What time can the celebrations run until?

We have different licensing times for different days.
